Customer Service Associate

About the role

The Customer Service Associate delivers a distinctive and delightful experience to shoppers, handling transactions, assisting with product inquiries, and maintaining a clean, well‑organized store environment. This role combines front‑line customer interaction with operational duties to ensure smooth store operations.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer questions, and provide courteous, efficient checkout service.
• Operate the cash register, process sales, returns, voids, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges.
• Maintain clean, well‑merchandised counters and shelves; perform inventory checks and stock rotation using FIFO.
• Assist with photo services, web order pick‑up, and promotional displays.
• Follow asset‑protection procedures and comply with state regulations for regulated products.
• Support store upkeep, both interior and exterior, and complete special assignments as directed.

Required profile

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends.
• Preferably six months of retail experience.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of store systems and equipment.
• Ability to operate a cash register and handle monetary transactions.
• Basic inventory management and merchandising skills.
