Communications Lead – Global Operations

About the role

As the Communications Lead for Global Operations, you will shape and deliver the narrative that connects Grünenthal’s manufacturing, supply‑chain and related functions worldwide. Working closely with senior leadership, you will translate business strategy and transformation initiatives into clear, compelling messages that drive alignment and engagement across regions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and steer the overall communication strategy for Global Operations, aligning it with business priorities.
• Ensure consistent, strategic messaging across functions, regions and leadership levels.
• Act as a trusted advisor to the Head of Global Operations and the leadership team.
• Coach senior leaders and mentor communication teams to raise communication capabilities globally.
• Identify and leverage internal and external channels such as town halls, videos, roadshows, intranet, social media, website, events and annual reports.
• Collaborate with the Global Communications team on cross‑functional initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in a senior communications role, advising senior stakeholders.
• University degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
• Proven experience in agency or in‑house communication environments.
• Ability to influence stakeholders at all hierarchy levels, including senior executives.
• Native or near‑native proficiency in English and fluency in Spanish.
• Willingness to work in Aachen at least twice a month and travel occasionally (e.g., Italy, Portugal, Latin America).
