Certified Accountant – Tax Residence in Spain

About the role

We are seeking a Certified Accountant to join our Accounting & Finance department within a growing healthcare company. The role focuses on delivering sound financial and accounting management while ensuring full compliance with applicable regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the company's general accounting activities.
• Prepare and analyse financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure compliance with tax and legal obligations.
• Supervise and support the Accounting & Finance team.
• Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets.
• Carry out account reconciliations and financial analyses.
• Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Implement improvements to accounting processes to enhance efficiency.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Management, Finance or a related field.
• Tax residence in Spain.
• Sound knowledge of accounting and tax regulations applicable in Portugal.
• Advanced skills in financial management tools and Excel.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
