Bilingual Customer Care Representative I

About the role

Elevance Health is seeking a bilingual Customer Care Representative I to join its hybrid team. The role combines in‑office collaboration (1‑2 days per week) with remote work, allowing flexibility while maintaining strong connections with colleagues and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to internal and external customer inquiries via phone and written correspondence regarding insurance benefits, provider contracts, eligibility, and claims.
• Analyze problems, provide accurate information, and document outcomes in the database.
• Maintain positive customer relationships and coordinate with internal functions to ensure timely resolution of requests.
• Research and analyze data to address operational challenges and service issues.
• Make outbound calls within the ZipDrug business area and follow up on routine customer questions.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in an automated customer service environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to pass pre‑employment testing and complete basic training.
