About the role

We are looking for a Backend API Developer to join a small, ambitious engineering team building the infrastructure behind a fast‑moving sports trading platform. You will design and maintain high‑performance backend services where milliseconds matter.

Key responsibilities

Develop and scale API infrastructure for real‑time sports data.
Optimize PostgreSQL databases and data pipelines.
Maintain and improve distributed systems that process large volumes of data.
Collaborate on scraping infrastructure and integrate with existing services.

Required profile

Proven ability to ship production‑ready code and work autonomously.
Comfortable in fast‑paced environments and taking ownership of tasks.
Background in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or a related field.
Interest in sports is a plus, but not mandatory.
