About the role
We are looking for a Backend API Developer to join a small, ambitious engineering team building the infrastructure behind a fast‑moving sports trading platform. You will design and maintain high‑performance backend services where milliseconds matter.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and scale API infrastructure for real‑time sports data.
- Optimize PostgreSQL databases and data pipelines.
- Maintain and improve distributed systems that process large volumes of data.
- Collaborate on scraping infrastructure and integrate with existing services.
Required profile
- Proven ability to ship production‑ready code and work autonomously.
- Comfortable in fast‑paced environments and taking ownership of tasks.
- Background in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or a related field.
- Interest in sports is a plus, but not mandatory.
