Assistant Supervisor

About the role

The Assistant Supervisor supports daily construction operations at CONTECH OF P R, INC’s San Juan site. Working on‑site full‑time, you will help coordinate crews, monitor progress, and ensure that safety, quality, and schedule requirements are met.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate work teams and assign daily tasks.
• Monitor progress against schedules and report status to supervisors.
• Organise materials, tools, and equipment needed for each shift.
• Assist with site inspections and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Communicate task assignments and updates to crew members and subcontractors.
• Identify and address minor issues or delays to keep work moving efficiently.

Required profile

• Experience in construction or a related field with solid understanding of on‑site workflows.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in construction supervision is a plus.
• Willingness to work on‑site in varying weather conditions and stand or move for extended periods.
• Demonstrated reliability, problem‑solving ability, and attention to detail in a fast‑paced environment.
