AML Analyst – French Speaker (Porto)

About the role

Inetum is seeking a motivated AML Analyst who is fluent in French to join its Porto office. You will work within a dynamic compliance team, analysing potential money‑laundering activities and supporting the company’s commitment to regulatory excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse alerts related to money‑laundering risks and assess their relevance.
• Maintain accurate records of payment alerts and propose improvements to existing procedures.
• Investigate suspicious payments and, when necessary, escalate cases for further examination.

Required profile

• Academic background in Law, International Relations, Political Science, Economics or a related field.
• At least one year of experience in banking services, compliance, KYC, AML or a comparable area.
• Strong communication abilities in both English and French.
• Attention to detail, teamwork orientation and a proactive attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
