AI Solutions Engineering Analyst

About the role

Metyis is seeking an AI Solutions Engineering Analyst to join its Data and Analytics team at the Digital Campus in Porto. You will work on cutting‑edge AI projects, helping to design, develop, and improve AI‑driven solutions that deliver tangible business value.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development, testing, and continuous improvement of AI solutions from prototype to production.
• Collaborate with central and local data teams to prepare and maintain data foundations, knowledge bases, and RAG pipelines.
• Implement and test prompts, context strategies, and other techniques to boost AI application performance.
• Translate business requirements into practical AI use cases and workflows.
• Research, experiment with, and share findings on new AI models, tools, and frameworks.
• Document AI methodologies, prompts, experiments, and learnings for knowledge sharing.
• Monitor AI solutions, identify issues, and apply improvements based on feedback.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of professional experience in software engineering, data science, data engineering, AI, or a related technical field.
• Relevant internships or academic projects are also valued.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
