Accounts Payable Team Leader – Dutch Speaker

About the role

Join a multinational automotive organization that is establishing a new Regional Shared Service Centre. As the Accounts Payable Team Leader, you will oversee a dedicated AP function within a fast‑growing international finance environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop an AP team, ensuring high service quality and continuous performance improvement.
• Manage end‑to‑end AP processes, including invoice processing, payment execution, supplier reconciliations and issue resolution.
• Monitor payment deadlines, outstanding balances and KPIs to meet service‑level agreements.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for supplier and stakeholder queries.
• Prepare operational reports, performance analyses and management information for decision‑making.
• Drive process optimisation initiatives to increase efficiency and strengthen controls.
• Collaborate with Finance, Procurement and other stakeholders to streamline processes and resolve discrepancies.
• Support month‑end close, audits and governance reporting.
• Contribute to knowledge‑transfer projects and ensure smooth onboarding of new processes.
• Travel internationally as required.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or Finance Operations, including team leadership.
• Strong knowledge of AP processes, controls, reconciliations and supplier management.
• Experience in a Shared Services Centre or international finance environment is a plus.
• Proven ability to analyse processes, identify improvements and implement solutions.
• Fluent in English and Dutch.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, multicultural setting.
