Access & Reimbursement Manager (Specialty Pharmacy)

About the role

The Access & Reimbursement Manager will serve as the primary field‑based resource supporting healthcare practices in Puerto Rico to ensure patients receive timely access to Rezdiffra, a specialty oral therapy for MASH. The role bridges providers, payers, and internal teams to remove barriers and deliver patient‑centric solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Work directly with HCP offices to investigate benefits, submit prior authorizations, manage appeals, and coordinate financial assistance.
• Educate providers and staff on payer‑specific policies, coverage criteria, and reimbursement processes for the specialty product.
• Act as liaison between the field team and internal stakeholders, sharing regional access trends and challenges.
• Collaborate with trade, market access, sales, patient support services, and analytics teams to align efforts.
• Identify and resolve access barriers by engaging payers, specialty pharmacies, and other key partners; escalate unresolved issues as needed.
• Leverage data and analytics tools to track access trends, prioritize activities, and report progress to leadership.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience supporting healthcare providers on access and reimbursement for specialty pharmaceuticals.
• Strong understanding of benefits investigation, prior authorization, appeals, and financial assistance processes.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills with the ability to work independently in the field.
• Ability to interpret payer policies and convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences.

Required skills

• Proficiency with data and analytics tools for tracking and reporting access metrics.
• Knowledge of specialty pharmacy workflows and payer reimbursement procedures.
