Waiter/Waitress – Costa da Caparica

About the role

Vida Plena is looking for enthusiastic waiters and waitresses to join its vibrant restaurant in Costa da Caparica. You will be the front‑line ambassador of the brand, delivering warm, attentive service that makes every guest feel at home.

Key responsibilities

• Take and serve food and beverage orders while managing multiple tables.
• Engage with guests, answer questions, and suggest menu items to enhance the dining experience.
• Communicate any food allergies or dietary restrictions to the Head Waiter and kitchen staff.
• Ensure tables are clean, properly set, and ready for new guests.
• Accurately relay orders to the kitchen and double‑check them before serving.
• Upsell higher‑margin dishes and drinks, highlighting specials and guest favorites.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in front‑of‑house hospitality.
• Familiarity with serving etiquette, menu knowledge, and dietary requirements.
• Strong communication, multitasking ability, and attention to detail.
• Friendly, personable, and able to create genuine connections with guests.
• High stamina and composure under pressure.

Required skills

• Excellent verbal communication.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Basic knowledge of POS systems (if mentioned by employer).
