Waiter – Luxury Boutique Hotel

About the role

We are seeking a professional Waiter to join our team at a prestigious 20th‑century boutique hotel in the heart of Lisbon’s Amoreiras neighbourhood. The successful candidate will deliver exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience in an elegant setting.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests, providing information and recommendations.
• Prepare the restaurant before service, ensuring all areas are clean and ready.
• Maintain stock control, place orders, and conduct periodic stock‑takes.
• Clean and maintain equipment, utensils, and raw materials.
• Ensure proper use of equipment and compliance with HACCP standards.
• Handle guest complaints and suggestions professionally.

Required profile

• Proven experience in similar waiter roles, preferably in the luxury sector.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English (minimum B2 level).
• Italian language proficiency is an advantage.
• Resilience and ability to overcome challenges.
• Team‑player attitude.
