System Administrator – ServiceNow CMDB Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned System Administrator with deep expertise in ServiceNow to own and evolve our Configuration Management Database (CMDB). You will work in a remote‑first environment, collaborating with IT architects and business stakeholders to ensure data integrity, support agile delivery, and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and maintain the ServiceNow CMDB with high data integrity.
• Design and implement CMDB data models, classes, relationships, and governance processes.
• Develop ServiceNow workflows, scripts, business rules, and integrations.
• Manage data imports, discovery processes, and integrations to keep CMDB data current.
• Create and maintain REST/SOAP APIs and web‑service integrations with internal and external systems.
• Ensure compliance with CMDB best practices, governance, and ServiceNow standards.
• Troubleshoot performance, data accuracy, and platform functionality issues.
• Support deployment and release management activities on the ServiceNow platform.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and deliver enhancements in iterative cycles.
• Document technical designs, configurations, and operational procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience with ServiceNow.
• Proven expertise in ServiceNow CMDB configuration, administration, and usage.
• Strong background in ServiceNow development, scripting, and platform customization.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Relevant ServiceNow certifications (e.g., CSA, CIS‑CMDB) are a plus.
