About the role

Join Siemens Energy’s Digital Solutions team as a Specialist Professional Data Scientist. You will design and deploy advanced machine‑learning models that directly support the Grid Technologies division, turning complex data into actionable insights that power communities and accelerate the energy transition.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and deployment of complex machine‑learning and predictive models to solve critical business challenges in Grid Technologies.
• Research, apply, and innovate with advanced data‑science, AI, and statistical modeling techniques to create new digital solutions.
• Manage large‑scale data‑science projects, define scope and deliverables, and ensure models are validated, scalable, and integrated into production.
• Provide technical leadership, mentor junior team members, and foster a collaborative, high‑performing environment.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business needs into robust technical solutions and communicate findings to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Required profile

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field, or a Bachelor’s degree with substantial equivalent experience.
• Extensive professional experience in data science with a proven track record of leading complex projects and deploying production‑level machine‑learning models.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
