About the role
The Senior HR Business Partner will act as a trusted strategic advisor, shaping culture and supporting business strategies to attract and develop talent that drives AbbVie’s impact on patients worldwide. This temporary position focuses on a specific business function, leveraging best‑in‑class HR practices.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders to design and implement HR strategies, needs assessments, and solutions.
- Lead proposals and recommendations to resolve strategically important issues.
- Prioritize and manage HR projects based on business needs and resources.
- Ensure effective delivery of all HR programs and services, monitoring client satisfaction and financial results.
- Build strong relationships with HR partners across practice areas and service centers.
- Act as an ambassador for HR, representing services and resources to the business.
- Manage human and financial resources for assigned projects, facilitating change and day‑to‑day activities.
- Coordinate resource planning with practice and service centers to meet business segment needs.
Required profile
- Proven credibility with senior management and ability to influence outcomes.
- Strong business acumen with deep knowledge of critical success factors for the assigned segment.
- Creative thinking across business units and the broader organization.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
