Senior Accounting Manager – Invoice to Pay

About the role

The Senior Accounting Manager (Invoice‑to‑Pay) will partner with the Global Process Owner to shape and optimise the end‑to‑end I2P landscape across the organisation. You will act as the central hub between suppliers, internal teams and an external accounts‑payable service provider, ensuring accurate SAP postings and timely payments.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Global Process Owner in governing the global I2P process, including OCR validation, workflow routing, approvals and SAP posting checks.
• Coordinate daily delivery with the external AP service provider, monitor SLA/KPI performance, and manage aging, backlog and exception queues.
• Oversee the ECM (Comarch) workflow – OCR, AP queue review, routing, exception handling and approval bottlenecks.
• Ensure compliance with global policies, ICFR controls and documentation standards.
• Drive escalations, resolve critical issues and lead continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Manage supplier communications for missing data, disputes, invoice corrections and payment clarifications.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Plants, Controlling and Business Units to secure necessary approvals and information.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in invoice‑to‑pay or accounts‑payable management within a multinational environment.
• Proven ability to work with external service providers and steer performance against SLAs.
• Strong understanding of finance governance, ICFR controls and process documentation.
• Excellent coordination skills across finance, procurement and operational teams.
