Restaurant and Bar Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Restaurant and Bar Supervisor to lead the food and beverage operations at one of our hotels in the Madeira region. The successful candidate will ensure high quality service, manage daily operations, and support the creation of memorable guest experiences within the Pestana Hotel Group.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily food and beverage operations, ensuring service standards and quality scores are met.
• Format menus for all outlets and integrate menu items into the POS system, guaranteeing smooth coordination between staff and software.
• Maintain Pestana standards in restaurant and banquet areas while responding to guest needs.
• Recruit, train, motivate and coordinate the F&B team to deliver excellent service.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar supervisory role within hospitality.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Result‑driven with strong leadership competencies.
• Guest‑focused and quality oriented.

Required skills

• Proficiency with POS (point‑of‑sale) systems.
