QA Engineer (Functional) – French Speaker

About the role

Aubay Portugal is seeking a Functional QA Engineer who is fluent in French to join its hybrid team in either Porto or Lisbon. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software solutions across multiple sectors by designing, executing, and tracking functional tests.

Key responsibilities

• Design, review, prepare and execute functional test cases.
• Document and track defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Collaborate with development and business teams to clarify requirements.
• Utilise testing tools such as Jira and XRay for test management.
• Participate in resource management and coordination activities.

Required profile

• Solid experience in functional testing, including test design and execution.
• Hands‑on experience with Jira and XRay.
• Strong analytical mindset and methodical approach.
• Autonomous, adaptable and proactive attitude.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive ownership mindset.
• Proficiency in French (minimum B2 level).
• Availability for a hybrid work model based in Porto or Lisbon.
