Media Relations Lead UK

About the role

Join a global communications team of 15 experts covering 35+ countries and lead media relations for the United Kingdom while supporting key European markets. You will shape Siemens Energy’s corporate positioning and amplify media impact across strategic regions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute integrated media relations strategies for the UK and other European focus countries.
• Serve as primary spokesperson for tier‑one media outlets, handling proactive outreach and reactive inquiries.
• Lead crisis communication efforts and prepare senior leaders for media interactions.
• Monitor, analyse, and report on media coverage and campaign performance.
• Craft compelling narratives, press releases, briefing documents, and other external communications.
• Adapt global corporate messaging for regional relevance across diverse European cultures.
• Manage relationships with journalists, editors, and external PR agencies.

Required profile

• Subject‑matter expert with extensive experience in media and public relations, including crisis communications.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and influence stakeholders across multiple European markets.
• Experience in the energy or technology sector is a strong advantage.
