Mechanical Design Engineer Internship – Product Development

About the role

Join Bosch's Research and Development Center in Aveiro as a Mechanical Design Engineer Intern, contributing to the development of innovative heating solutions for residential customers. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to support product development activities over a 12‑month period.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and support the planning of activities across different engineering areas.
• Track project milestones and deliverables, providing regular progress reports.
• Communicate expectations to team members and stakeholders.
• Assist in specifying parts used in gas water heaters.
• Create and review technical documentation such as drawings and bills of materials.
• Support communication with suppliers regarding design solutions.
• Issue product technical documentation, including reports and procedures.

Required profile

• Academic degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to learn and continuously improve.
