Junior People & Culture Consultant

About the role

InnoWave is seeking a proactive Junior People & Culture Consultant to join its HR team in Lisbon. This entry‑level position offers the chance to gain hands‑on experience across a range of HR functions while contributing to a positive workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

• Support the rollout of HR programmes and initiatives.
• Maintain up‑to‑date employee records and generate simple analytical reports from system data.
• Handle administrative and compliance tasks such as vacation management, leave processing, and responding to employee document requests.
• Explain company policies and regulations to staff, ensuring clear understanding of conduct rules.
• Assist with benefits administration, including health insurance and mobile phone provisions.
• Manage employee contracts and internship documentation, ensuring legal compliance.
• Administer HR systems, activate features and oversee annual renewals.

Required profile

• Degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• Knowledge of Portuguese labour law, contracts and social security.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and interpersonal skills.
• Professional ethics, responsibility and teamwork orientation.
• Fluent written and spoken English (mandatory).

Required skills

• High proficiency with Excel.
• Competent use of Office 365 tools.
