Junior Controller

About the role

We are a growing Portuguese premium brand seeking a Junior Controller to join our finance team in Lisbon. You will work closely with senior management, providing data‑driven insights that support strategic decisions and help optimise our margins across collections.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and perform regular reconciliations.
• Track budgets, prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, and assist with internal and external audits.
• Analyse margins and other key performance indicators to identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with the management team to streamline processes and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Support business decision‑making through timely and precise data analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting.
• Familiarity with bookkeeping, accounts receivable/payable, and financial reconciliations.
• Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting software.
