Hotel Manager – Luxury 5‑Star Property in Lisbon

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Hotel Manager to lead a new 5‑star hotel project in Lisbon. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence across all departments while delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of F&B, Housekeeping, Front Office, Maintenance and Guest Experience.
• Maintain compliance with brand, quality and service standards.
• Lead, motivate and develop multidisciplinary teams, fostering a culture of hospitality excellence.
• Analyse operational and financial KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with the General Manager to implement the hotel’s strategic plan.
• Manage complex incidents to guarantee outstanding guest experiences.
• Oversee internal procedures, protocols and regulatory compliance.
• Promote efficiency, sustainability and resource optimisation initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in operations, assistant management or management roles within 5‑star hotels.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English; additional languages are a plus.
• Deep knowledge of luxury hospitality standards and hotel operations.
• Strong analytical abilities, strategic mindset and meticulous attention to detail.
• Hands‑on, solution‑oriented leadership style focused on team development.
• Ability to thrive in dynamic, demanding environments.
