Golf Assistant – Resort Golf Course Operations

About the role

The Golf Assistant supports the smooth operation of two resort golf courses – Ocean Golf Course and Royal Golf Course – ensuring an excellent experience for guests. You will welcome players, manage their flow on the course, and maintain equipment standards while working in a dynamic, customer‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and oversee the daily functioning of both golf courses.
• Greet guests on arrival, manage their entry, and assist with the start of play.
• Monitor and control the pace of play throughout the round.
• Coordinate the orderly departure of players from the courses.
• Inspect and maintain the condition of all golf equipment provided to guests.

Required profile

• Fluent spoken English (mandatory).
• Enjoy interacting with the public and delivering high‑quality customer service.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Dynamic, proactive, and committed attitude.
• Own transport to Vale do Lobo.
• No prior golf experience required – comprehensive training will be provided.
