Cyber Security Engineer – Application Security

About the role

Inetum is looking for a Cyber Security Engineer to join its Competency Center within the Central Cybersecurity Department. You will be responsible for safeguarding a wide portfolio of applications by managing vulnerabilities through static and dynamic analysis, software composition analysis, and BITSIGHT assessments.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain application security tools such as code analysis and dependency management solutions.
• Implement and continuously improve Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
• Run and manage security scans (SAST, SCA, DAST/WAS) and analyse the results.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify, assess, and remediate security risks.
• Promote secure coding practices, monitor security control effectiveness, and report performance metrics.
• Support the Application Security community by raising awareness and sharing best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT risk.
• Familiarity with security and DevSecOps tools such as Qualys, Fortify, Nexus IQ, and Kubernetes.
• Experience automating vulnerability management, preferably with Python scripting.
• Strong understanding of application security principles, OWASP Top 10, and secure coding standards.
• Fluent English; basic French is a plus.
