Communications & Marketing Manager

About the role

Black Cat, a fast‑growing cinema and events brand in Lisbon, is looking for a Communications & Marketing Manager to shape its voice and daily audience interaction. Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Communications, you will drive storytelling across social platforms, newsletters and community channels.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, create and schedule content for Instagram, TikTok, newsletters and other channels.
• Maintain the brand’s tone and visual identity in all communications.
• Engage with the community by managing DMs, comments, stories and audience queries.
• Collaborate with photographers, videographers, designers and external partners to launch campaigns.
• Support newsletter production, CRM organization and audience segmentation.
• Keep communication calendars, marketing documents and campaign timelines up to date.
• Monitor performance metrics, analyse results and recommend improvements.
• Supervise and mentor a content‑creation intern.

Required profile

• Fluent in Portuguese and English.
• Passionate about film, events and storytelling.
• Highly organized, creative and proactive.
• Enjoys teamwork and collaboration within a creative environment.

Required skills

• Extensive experience with social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
• Strong written communication and copy‑editing abilities.
• Familiarity with newsletter tools and basic CRM concepts.
