AP Accountant (French Speaker) – Lisbon

About the role

Verisure is looking for a hands‑on AP Accountant who is fluent in French to join its Finance team in Lisbon. Reporting to the Shared Services Center Manager, the role will support the company’s rapid growth across Europe and Latin America by managing the full accounts‑payable cycle and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, validate and process supplier invoices in the P2P process.
• Communicate with internal departments and external partners to resolve invoice issues.
• Ensure correct cost‑center and account coding on purchase orders.
• Prepare weekly and month‑end closing reports, including aging analysis.
• Execute payment runs and support ad‑hoc AP and procurement tasks.
• Reconcile AP ledger on a monthly basis.
• Work with local finance specialists to guarantee compliance with tax and reporting requirements.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business; qualified accountant preferred.
• Minimum two years of experience in accounting or accounts‑payable.
• Strong interest in accounting processes and a proactive, self‑starting attitude.
• Fluent in French and English.
