Tax Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Tax Manager to lead Trustly’s global tax compliance and reporting obligations. Reporting to the Global Tax Senior Manager, you will work within a dynamic, cross‑jurisdictional team to ensure accurate tax filings worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end global tax compliance process, including corporate tax computations, VAT returns and EC sales lists.
• Maintain the tax compliance calendar, track quarterly and year‑end deadlines, and coordinate related tasks.
• Prepare transfer pricing calculations and support related documentation.
• Serve as the primary liaison with the external tax outsource provider, ensuring timely and accurate data delivery and performing first‑level reviews.
• Collect tax data from Finance, act as a touchpoint between Finance and Tax, and assist the team on key projects.
• Support audits and inquiries from tax authorities.
• Identify and implement digital solutions to improve tax compliance efficiency.
• Assist with additional reporting requirements such as DAC 6, CESOP, FATCA and CRS returns, and monitor legislative changes.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of tax compliance experience, preferably from a Big 4 firm or equivalent.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage tax compliance in an international context.
• In‑house tax experience is a strong advantage.
• Flexibility and eagerness to develop across all aspects of global tax.

Required skills

• Knowledge of corporate tax, VAT, transfer pricing, DAC 6, CESOP, FATCA and CRS reporting.
• Experience with tax compliance calendars and deadline management.
• Ability to work with external tax service providers and finance teams.
