Tax and Incomes Officer

About the role

The Tax and Incomes Officer supports BNP Paribas by capturing market events, setting up tracking files, and determining the economic structure of eligible positions such as buy/sell, stock loans, and repos. The role ensures accurate reconciliation of payments and receipts for accounting purposes while coordinating impacts across business lines and products.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and capture event announcements across all markets.
• Analyse transaction terms and send summary notifications to traders or clients.
• Maintain relationships with business‑line representatives and network agents.
• Respect timelines and deadline cut‑offs for all activities.
• Control books and records throughout event lifecycles until payment dates.
• Report outstanding items such as deposit or cash breaks.
• Document procedures to adapt to market and process changes.
• Contribute to control‑plan protocols in line with local operational risk policies.
• Ensure precision of activity metrics and escalate issues or successes to management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting.
• Up to 2 years of experience in banking and financial operations.
• Advanced level of English.
• Client‑focused attitude with strong teamwork and organisational abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
