About the role

Fujitsu is looking for a Software Developer to join its team in Portugal. The role involves creating, packaging, testing and maintaining software modules and customer solutions, ensuring smooth deployment and compliance with internal standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement and test software modules and products according to schedule, budget and quality standards.
• Package software solutions, hot‑fixes and configuration changes while adhering to deployment procedures.
• Conduct functional, integration and regression testing in lab and pre‑production environments.
• Prepare release packages, deployment instructions and rollback procedures; coordinate releases and present updates in Change Advisory Board meetings.
• Provide integration support, ensuring compatibility between software components and customer environments.
• Suggest and implement process‑improvement proposals within projects.
• Produce and maintain technical and release documentation.
• Offer maintenance, troubleshooting and problem‑resolution for developed modules and packaged solutions.
• Collaborate closely with customer technical teams throughout the software lifecycle.

Required profile

• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Experience working with Windows environments and software deployment.
• Knowledge of software development, packaging and testing processes.
