Senior Process Design Engineer – Wastewater Projects

About the role

The Senior Process Design Engineer will join Glanua’s Lisbon hub to lead the design of water and wastewater treatment projects. Working within a multi‑disciplinary team, you will take concepts through detailed engineering, construction, commissioning and into operational hand‑over.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimise process design solutions for wastewater treatment facilities.
• Prepare design calculations, drawings and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation (MEICA) and civil engineering disciplines.
• Support process commissioning activities and ensure successful project delivery.
• Interact with clients and stakeholders to capture requirements and provide technical guidance.

Required profile

• Degree in Chemical, Environmental, Mechanical or related engineering discipline.
• Significant experience in process design for water or wastewater projects.
• Proven ability to work independently and remotely while collaborating across borders.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
