Senior Java Engineer – SSO & Identity Management

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Java Engineer to join an insurance client and work on the maintenance and evolution of enterprise applications. The focus is on security and identity management, specifically SSO integration and connectivity with identity providers in a complex legacy environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance enterprise Java applications with a strong emphasis on security.
• Design, implement and support SSO integrations using OAuth2, OpenID Connect and SAML.
• Integrate applications with identity providers such as OKTA and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Develop and integrate APIs, manage deployments on Linux/Unix, Apache Tomcat and Apache HTTP Server, and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure and security teams to resolve problems and deliver solutions.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in Java development within enterprise/legacy contexts.
• Hands‑on experience with SSO integration and identity provider connectivity.
• Ability to work autonomously on problem analysis, resolution and direct deployments.
• Proven collaboration across development, infrastructure and security teams.
