Senior Graphic Designer – Brand & Packaging

About the role

Daymon, a global leader in own‑brand development for retailers, is looking for a Senior Graphic Designer to join its award‑winning International Design Agency in Lisbon. This senior position sets the benchmark for the agency’s design standards and will work on international projects across multiple markets.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver Brand Strategy, Brand Identity and Packaging Design proposals from client briefs.
• Produce top‑quality, market‑leading innovative solutions with a storytelling approach.
• Present concepts and articulate design decisions to clients.
• Anticipate and resolve challenges throughout the packaging design process, making strategic decisions.
• Participate in the creation, editing and finalisation of artworks.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary design team.
• Mentor and guide junior designers, overseeing their work.
• Continuously learn about retail brands and packaging trends.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in a design team, agency or corporate environment.
• Strong understanding of design as a methodology that drives brand strategy and innovation.
• Innovative portfolio showcasing brand identity and packaging projects.
• Proven ability to take client briefs from concept through to final proposal.
• Knowledge of printing technologies and ability to manage feedback throughout production.
• Experience making strategic design decisions and guiding branding projects.
• Practical awareness of cultural differences, with experience delivering projects internationally.
• Experience mentoring junior designers is a plus.
