Senior Frontend Developer (Angular)

About the role

Datahouse is looking for a Senior Frontend Developer with deep expertise in Angular to join its Lisbon office. You will work on high‑impact real‑estate and data‑software solutions, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team that spans from Zurich to Lisbon.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business requirements and translate them into intuitive, high‑quality user interfaces.
• Design, develop and maintain scalable frontend applications using Angular and modern web technologies.
• Champion accessibility (a11y) by implementing WCAG guidelines, semantic markup, ARIA attributes and thorough testing.
• Contribute to the shared design system and component library together with UX/UI designers.
• Collaborate closely with product owners and backend teams to refine requirements and ensure seamless integration.
• Provide technical guidance to peers and help raise the overall frontend expertise of the squad.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of professional software development experience, with a minimum of 3 years on a complex, long‑term Angular project.
• Strong track record of delivering accessible, performant web applications.
• Experience working in agile, cross‑functional teams and contributing to design systems.

Required skills

• Angular (v21) and TypeScript.
• HTML5, modern CSS and Tailwind CSS.
• Web accessibility standards (WCAG, ARIA, keyboard navigation).
• Familiarity with Java 21, Spring framework and PostgreSQL is a plus.
