Purchasing Agent (German Speaker)

About the role

Airbus is looking for a German‑speaking Purchasing Agent to support procurement activities across its European operations. You will work within the Airbus Global Business Services unit, handling ordering and sourcing tasks for commodities in France, Germany, Spain, the UK and Portugal.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate Purchase Requests (PRs).
• Create, update and monitor Purchase Orders (POs) throughout their lifecycle.
• Provide operational sourcing support via the Service Desk for internal stakeholders.
• Maintain and update catalogue and other procurement information records.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal customers, including buyers.
• Utilise Airbus ERP systems, primarily SAP, and procurement tools such as Coupa.

Required profile

• Experience in supply chain or procurement is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, especially in emergency situations.
• Eagerness to learn new tools and adapt to change.
