Planning Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Planning Technician to join the Operations Department of a leading Portuguese agri‑industrial group in Lisbon. The role focuses on developing and executing supply‑chain plans that align sales forecasts, inventory, production capacity and purchasing requirements with the company’s logistics strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage short‑, medium‑ and long‑term supply‑chain planning, integrating sales forecasts, stock levels, production capacities and purchasing needs.
• Prepare and monitor performance and cost indicators, recommending improvements to enhance efficiency and achieve targets.
• Plan and follow up logistics projects, supporting the rollout of new products and operational enhancements.
• Promote effective use of integrated planning systems, ensuring data quality and continuous process improvement.

Required profile

• University degree in Engineering, Applied Mathematics or a related field (preferred).
• At least 2 years of experience in planning, order management or production planning.
• Proficiency in English.
• Result‑oriented mindset, problem‑solving ability, flexibility, proactivity, resilience and teamwork.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of integrated planning systems, particularly for supplier and customer coordination.
