Packaging Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Packaging Manager to lead the packaging department at our high‑volume manufacturing site. Reporting to senior operations, you will ensure packaging production aligns with Haleon’s marketing and consumer strategy while maintaining safety, quality and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Direct daily packaging operations to meet production schedules and new product launches.
• Develop and coach a high‑performing packaging team, fostering open communication and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, GMP and local regulatory requirements through SOP implementation and monitoring.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities, labor efficiencies and capital investment projects to maximize equipment utilization.
• Manage department budgets, cost‑center forecasts and financial targets.
• Collaborate with production, quality, supply chain and other functions using SAP systems to support batch execution and demand fluctuations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Supply Chain or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing or plant environment.
• Proven experience with FDA and GMP regulations.
• Strong ability to communicate business vision to staff and senior executives.
• Experience leading both non‑exempt and exempt staff in high‑volume production.
