Open Finance Sales Manager – Western Europe (Spanish)

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Manager to lead Open Finance sales across Western Europe with a focus on Spanish‑speaking markets. You will drive new business, expand strategic accounts and shape the go‑to‑market strategy for Open Banking and data products in the Iberian region.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities, managing the full sales pipeline to close deals.
• Design and execute the regional go‑to‑market strategy for Open Finance and data solutions in Iberia.
• Support the sales process, ensuring clients fully leverage Mastercard’s Open Banking (AIS/PIS) and data products such as BIN Lookup and Transaction Notifications.
• Forecast regional growth, track performance against budget, and report on key customer segments.
• Own and nurture relationships with banks, fintechs, PSPs and acquirers to drive revenue growth.
• Collaborate with local and regional Mastercard teams, as well as product, compliance, finance and legal stakeholders.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams, communicate sales strategy and lead enterprise‑grade deal closures.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of the banking and payments ecosystem, with experience creating commercial opportunities across issuers, fintechs, PSPs or acquirers.
• Proven track record selling payments, data or banking solutions to enterprise clients in Europe.
• Strategic and analytical mindset combined with a hands‑on, execution‑driven approach.
• Ability to foster teamwork and collaborate across a large, geographically distributed organization.
