Marketing Director – Lead Brand, Strategic & Product Marketing

About the role

The company, a globally recognised consumer brand, is seeking a Marketing Director to join its executive board. Reporting directly to the Executive Board, you will shape and execute the overall marketing strategy, integrating brand, strategic and product marketing to drive growth and reinforce market leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead the company’s comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with corporate objectives and long‑term growth ambitions.
• Develop and implement the annual marketing plan, setting strategic priorities, investment budgets, KPIs and governance mechanisms.
• Lead brand marketing initiatives to strengthen positioning, visibility, differentiation and long‑term equity across all customer touchpoints.
• Design and execute product marketing strategies, supporting portfolio evolution, launches, value‑proposition development, segmentation and go‑to‑market plans.
• Generate and leverage market, consumer and competitive intelligence to identify growth opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with the Executive Board and other functions to ensure marketing directly contributes to commercial priorities and overall strategy.
• Build, develop and inspire a multidisciplinary marketing organisation covering brand, strategic, product, digital and communications functions.

Required profile

• Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics or related field; postgraduate qualification or MBA is a strong advantage.
• Minimum 15 years of professional experience, including at least 8 years in senior marketing leadership roles within large, consumer‑facing organisations.
• Proven track record of defining and executing integrated marketing strategies with measurable business impact.
• Experience leading sizeable, multidisciplinary marketing teams in complex environments.
