Manufacturing & Quality Technician

About the role

The Manufacturing & Quality Technician supports the efficiency and effectiveness of production lines while helping to industrialize new products. Based in Viana do Castelo, the role combines documentation, layout support, and continuous‑improvement activities in a fast‑paced automotive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate on quality and support documentation for production processes.
• Assist in defining production layout and machine specifications.
• Prepare documentation of test results and quality records for new products.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives and maintenance management tools (preventive/predictive).
• Ensure compliance with safety, cleanliness, hygiene, environmental, and ethical standards.
• Perform additional tasks as needed to meet service requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronic Engineering or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 0‑2 years of relevant experience is a plus.
• Strong proficiency with MS Office.
• Good command of English and Portuguese.
• Familiarity with problem‑solving methodologies (5W, Ishikawa, PDCA, 8D).
• Knowledge of quality tools, IATF standards, and Lean Manufacturing principles.
