IT Technician (English & French Speakers)

About the role

We are seeking an IT Technician to join Axians’ Portugal team. The role provides high‑quality technical support to end‑users, handling incidents and service requests across a range‑of devices and platforms while ensuring service continuity and excellent customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and resolve end‑user requests via phone, email and chat, following the full incident lifecycle.
• Perform IMACD activities (install, move, add, change, dispose) for hardware and software.
• Raise authorization requests for service fulfillment when required.
• Document incidents, requests and resolutions in the ticketing system and ensure SLA compliance.
• Collaborate with internal support teams to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Contribute to knowledge‑base articles and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Fluent in written and spoken English and French.

Required skills

• Hands‑on troubleshooting of PCs, laptops, tablets and VPN connections.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows 11 operating system.
• Software installation and hardware repair.
• Knowledge of Virtual Machines and virtualization concepts.
• Basic networking concepts and protocols.
• Familiarity with mobile devices and telephony services.
• Use of ticketing tools and CMDB solutions.
