Forecast to Control and Accounting Department Manager

About the role

The Forecast to Control and Accounting Department Manager leads the end‑to‑end Forecast to Control and Close & Accounting processes for SBM Offshore. Reporting to the Forecast to Report Director, you will supervise dedicated teams, ensure high‑quality financial data for Finance Directors and the Group Controller, and act as a key liaison between internal finance functions and joint‑venture partners.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the transformation and optimisation of the Corporate & Business Solutions Centre, supporting ERP implementation and process standardisation.
• Lead simplification, standardisation and continuous improvement initiatives across Forecast to Control and Close & Accounting activities.
• Enhance management reporting through KPI monitoring, performance analysis and tool improvement.
• Oversee preparation of annual budgets and quarterly re‑forecasts, reviewing business assumptions and ensuring timely delivery.
• Supervise the full close and accounting cycle, guaranteeing data accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with Finance Business Control & Advisory, Group Tax, Group Control, Group Treasury, Consolidation, external auditors and JV partners.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and close & accounting processes.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross‑functional teams.
• Experience in large, multinational environments and exposure to joint‑venture accounting.
• Excellent analytical mindset and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
