Financial Analyst – Credit & Portfolio Management (Lisbon/Porto)

About the role

The Credit & Asset Management team within AFS is looking for a Financial Analyst to support the BDC Revolving Credit Facilities business in Lisbon or Porto. You will focus on leveraged loan collateral issued by US borrowers and help manage non‑financial risks.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and feed the Portfolio Management system with daily data, generate dashboards and ensure data quality.
• Track covenant compliance, borrowing bases and report results to the structuring team.
• Assist in credit database upkeep, create new entries, update financial models and troubleshoot errors.
• Conduct fundamental credit analysis on leveraged borrowers, review financial statements, earnings calls and capital‑structure scenarios.
• Support legal document review, including credit agreements and intercreditor agreements.
• Prepare internal reports, exposure breakdowns and stress‑test scenarios.
• Reconcile non‑financial risk data, trace cash assets and validate borrowing‑base models.
