Financial Analyst – Corporate Finance & M&A

About the role

Invest Corporate Finance (ICF) is seeking a Financial Analyst to join its deal team in Lisbon. You will work on Portuguese mid‑market transactions and cross‑border deals sourced through the IMAP network, gaining direct exposure to clients, investors, and senior decision‑makers from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Support execution of sell‑side, buy‑side, capital‑raising, restructuring and advisory mandates.
• Build and maintain financial models, including DCF, trading comparables, precedent transactions and LBO analyses where relevant.
• Prepare pitch materials, teasers, information memoranda and management presentations.
• Conduct sector and market research, target identification and investor mapping.
• Interact directly with clients, bidders, banks, lawyers and other counterparties.

Required profile

• MSc in Finance, Management, Economics or a related field.
• Up to 3 years of experience in M&A, investment banking, transaction services, private equity or corporate finance advisory (strong internships accepted).
• Fluent in Portuguese and English.
• Strong analytical rigor and comfort with Excel, financial modeling and PowerPoint.
• Self‑driven, able to take ownership in a small, lean team.
