Finance Capital Markets Products Controller

About the role

The Finance Capital Markets Products Controller ensures the reliability, integrity and completeness of accounting for the Global Equity Capital Derivatives (GECD) business. Working across front‑to‑back processes, the role supports trading, structuring and sales of equity, index and fund derivatives.

Key responsibilities

• Perform level‑one accounting control for a defined product perimeter, including reconciliation with operational data and sensitive accounts.
• Analyse discrepancies, monitor operational and financial risks, and manage escalations to senior management.
• Maintain proactive communication with partners during pre‑closing, closing and post‑closing phases.
• Drive continuous improvement of control frameworks and reduce manual adjustments.
• Document procedures, create onboarding material and provide training for new team members.
• Lead or contribute to efficiency projects, including the migration from CODA to the Group Ledger Operational Finance System (OFS).
• Support other business and regulatory projects through requirements gathering, testing and post‑go‑live controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in accounting or finance.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Strong analytical ability and results‑driven mindset.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Proficient use of Microsoft Excel (part of the Office suite).
• Knowledge of Oracle Essbase Business Intelligence.
