Director of Food & Beverage

About the role

The luxury hotel in Northern Portugal seeks a dynamic Director of Food & Beverage to lead and elevate its dining operations. Reporting to the Executive Committee, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences while driving operational and financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all Food & Beverage operations, including front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house functions.
• Lead, inspire and develop a high‑performing team of culinary and service professionals.
• Maintain the highest luxury service standards and ensure operational excellence.
• Design and implement innovative dining concepts that enhance the guest experience.
• Manage budgets, control costs and drive profitability across all F&B outlets.
• Collaborate closely with the Executive Committee and other department heads to align F&B strategy with overall hotel objectives.

Required profile

• Extensive leadership experience in Food & Beverage within luxury hotels or resorts, preferably in an international setting.
• Proven ability to build and develop high‑performing teams.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, with a track record of managing budgets and improving profitability.
• Hands‑on leadership style and a passion for guest satisfaction.
• Deep understanding of luxury service standards and operational best practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
