Capital Market P&L Reconciliation – Senior Controller

About the role

The Finance Capital Markets Products Controller ensures the reliability and integrity of accounting across the front‑to‑back chain. Acting as a finance business partner, the senior controller drives accurate P&L reconciliation, supports operational teams and contributes to continuous improvement of control processes.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain level‑one accounting control for a defined set of capital‑market products, including reconciliation with operational data and sensitive accounts.
• Collaborate with partners to anticipate pre‑closing issues, communicate fluidly during closing, and formalise post‑closing actions to prevent recurrence.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives, reducing manual adjustments and operational risk.
• Develop and formalise team procedures, onboarding materials, and provide training/coaching for new joiners.
• Participate in management and department meetings, and contribute to or lead efficiency projects.
• Provide backup support for the N‑1 manager during absences.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Strong communication, teamwork and client‑focused attitude.
• Analytical mindset with a results‑driven approach.

Required skills

• Proficient use of Microsoft Excel.
• Solid knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
