Buyer – HR, Marcom & Legal (French Speaker)

About the role

As a Buyer in the Professional Services Team at BNP Paribas, you will act on behalf of internal clients to source and purchase a range of services such as training, recruitment, marketing communications and legal support. You will ensure compliance with regulations and the bank’s standards while delivering cost‑effective solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Support internal clients with purchasing requests, ensuring quality, cost efficiency and timely processing.
• Coordinate Request for Proposal (RFP) processes, evaluate supplier offers and conduct one‑on‑one negotiations.
• Negotiate pricing and contractual terms to achieve savings targets.
• Prepare and review contracts, guaranteeing adherence to BNP Paribas policies, regulatory requirements and framework agreements.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes and tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Relevant experience in procurement or similar purchasing roles.
• Fluent in English and French, with strong contract reading and management abilities.
• Customer‑oriented with strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Detail‑oriented, organized and proactive.
