Backend Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a mid‑level Backend Engineer to join our high‑performing tech team in Lisbon. You will work in a hybrid setting, collaborating with developers in Portugal and Spain to build and maintain the AI Brain that powers travel sellers.

Key responsibilities

• Write reusable, tested, and efficient code.
• Improve and maintain existing system features.
• Evaluate and implement new systems and infrastructure.
• Document code independently.
• Ensure cybersecurity and data protection.
• Enhance process automation and scalability.
• Collaborate closely with the tech team.

Required profile

• At least 4 years of back‑end development experience.
• University degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong English proficiency, both written and spoken.
• Dedication, flexibility, and a positive “can‑do” attitude.
